Alexandria radio stations host St. Jude Radiothons Thursday, Friday
Cenla Broadcasting is hosting the 28th annual Country Cares for St. Jude Radiothon and fouth annual Urban Radio Cares for St. Jude Kids from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
The radiothons are happening on 100.3 KRRV and 98.7 KISS.
The radiothon will include patient stories from Central Louisiana.
Melissa Frost, KRRV program director, said in an email that there are more than 900 children from Louisiana who are actively using the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
"We’ll be asking our listeners to call in, text, or go online to donate to help the kids," she said in the email.
