Alec Baldwin Pleads Guilty on Harassment Charges From NYC Parking Dispute
Alec Baldwin on Wednesday pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment and agreed to take anger management classes stemming from a well-publicized parking spot dispute in New York City last year.
Baldwin avoided a more stringent assault charge as part of his plea, according to ABC 7 in New York. The 60-year-old actor was accused of punching a man after they argued over a Greenwich Village parking spot last November — a claim Baldwin denied.
Baldwin, in court documents, did admit to pushing the man after believing he stole his spot, according to ABC 7.
Baldwin will have to pay a mandatory fee of $120 and provide documentation he completed his anger management courses by March 27, according to Fox News. Pictures and video of the incident will also be destroyed, according to Fox News.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office argued after reviewing the video and speaking to multiple witnesses that the second-degree harassment charges were most suitable for Baldwin. The actor’s attorney stressed that he pleaded guilty to a violation, not a crime, according to ABC 7. He’ll be back in court for a compliance date on March 27.
Baldwin, from his Twitter account for the Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Foundation, blasted the “vermin at Fox News” on Wednesday for saying he allegedly punched the man while arguing over the parking spot. “It didn’t happen,” tweeted Baldwin. He added: “nothing that resembles justice ever enters or leaves any courtroom in this country.”
The longtime Hollywood star has been lauded for his portrayal of President Trump in recent years on “Saturday Night Live.” Shortly after news of Baldwin’s arrest in November, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted about the incident, calling Baldwin a “piece of garbage.”
It wasn’t Baldwin’s first brush with the NYPD. In May 2014, the actor was cited for riding his bike in the wrong direction Tuesday and allegedly arguing with officers who stopped him.
