ALEA offering boating safety and license classes

Feb. 8—One-day boating basics and license courses are being offered to residents 12-and-over beginning Saturday in Decatur, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The eight-hour sessions are free and will discuss challenges the boaters may face on the water.

Saturday's class will be taught at the Tim Baker Real Estate office at 738 Alabama 67 S. in Decatur.

Others sessions will be March 11 at Dry Creek Marine 3704 Gordon Terry Parkway in Decatur, and on April 8 at Fredericks Outdoors at 1312 South Bethel Road in Priceville.

All sessions will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., ALEA said.
