Aldon Smith arrested (yes, again) for violating a court order

It’s not like another arrest for Aldon Smith really affects his NFL future, because that seems finished at this point.

Smith is making sure no NFL team will ever consider him again, however, as he was arrested yet again according to the San Francisco Chronicle’s Evan Sernoffsky. Smith, the former San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders pass rusher, violated a court order to stay away from a victim in an alleged domestic violence incident according to the Chronicle.

On March 3, Smith was accused of a domestic violence incident in which he “threw her around the room, bit her on the wrist and climbed out the window,” according to a police dispatch call via KTVU in San Francisco. The Raiders released him shortly after. Smith turned himself into police on charges of willful infliction of corporal injury, assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, false imprisonment and vandalism (less than $400).

According to the Chronicle, Smith was arrested for contacting the victim of that March 3 incident.

Smith has a long list of legal issues, which led to various NFL suspensions. He has played only nine games since 2014. It would be a surprise if he played in the NFL again after the latest incidents.
