Alden Richards doesn't read mean comments online

15 Aug - Alden Richards is not affected at all by anything that is said about him online, and that is because he doesn't read mean comments about him on the internet.

According to Push, the actor who was recently accused of fathering a child with an ex-girlfriend and supposedly used Maine Mendoza to keep his real romance a secret, shared that he rarely reads things that are said about him online as he only goes on social media to look at photos of family members and friends.

"That's how I see social media. I just look at the good side of it. If you look at the bad side, it's too much, especially when you're a public figure," he said.

Richards said that the big downside being a celebrity on social media is that some people want artistes to do what they want and follow their direction.

"I just avoid it because it could be quite stressful, and just see the good side of social media based on how it helps lives and brings people closer," he added.
