A dispersal order was put in place around a city centre after reports of anti-social behaviour.

Thames Valley Police said the order was put in place on Friday evening around Milton Keynes city centre, which included the train station, after reports of alcohol-related violence.

A dispersal order allows the police to require an individual to leave the area if they are likely to be involved in anti-social behaviour. It prevents people from the community from being harassed or distressed by those involved.

Police presence was increased around the city centre while the order was in operation. It was lifted on Saturday morning at 07:00 BST.
