Albuquerque Public Schools will offer both art and music at elementary schools
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Public Schools has adjusted its curriculum and will offer both art and music to elementary school students starting in the 2024-2025 school year.
Albuquerque Academy hires new girls basketball coach
Previously, schools alternated between art and music instruction each year. But now, elementary students will be able to participate in visual arts and music annually. According to APS, studies show arts integration supports overall academic achievement and student development.
