ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – On Monday afternoon, the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) held a press conference to discuss recent murder cases.

Authorities said they’ve linked one person, Gabriel Valenzuela-Greene Jr., to three recent murders. They happened all in March on the following dates:
March 4 (Valenzuela-Greene Jr. was charged.)
March 13 (Valenzuela-Greene Jr. was charged. – APD noted a CABQ garbage truck caught video evidence of this crime.)
March 13 (Valenzuela-Greene Jr. is a suspect.)

APD said the murders involved robbing and killing drug dealers. Chief Medina credited quick evidence processing and their NIBIN system for the progress in the investigations. He also stated he doesn’t consider the suspect a serial killer but rather just a violent person.

Valenzuela-Greene Jr. (also known as “Memphis”) is suspected to be involved in other violent crimes; officials ask any, unaccounted victims to come forward.

Authorities noted another murder case took place on March 15 near Broadway and Indian School, and two people were arrested for that incident.
