Albuquerque hosting multicultural arts fest

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The city is once again hosting the annual Multicultural Arts Festival. The event is set for Saturday, May 11 at the Singing Arrow Community Center in the Four Hills area.

This is the second year the city has held the event, which features a few dozen artists, food trucks, and family activities. There will also be performances throughout the day, the city says.

“I am a person who loves art and places where the community can show off their amazing talents,” Community Recreation Supervisor Natasha Baca said in a press release. “Being able to bring an event to this community which highlights arts and culture is very important to us, and we hope to get a diverse showing of artists and performers.”

The city is looking for artists to participate. The city is accepting submissions until May 3. Information about who can apply can be found at this link.
