Album Premiere: GospelbeacH debuts 'Another Summer of Love'

Brent Rademaker — who’s known for his work with Further, Beachwood Sparks and The Tyde –- is realizing his most detailed and mature work yet with his recent outfit, GospelbeacH. The band’s sophomore effort, Another Summer Of Love, is out June 16 and shows off a pure Southern California, retro and dreamy roots-rock vibe.

Yahoo Music is excited to offer fans a full stream of the album a day before its release. In the tradition of the Troubadour scene of the 1970s, Another Summer of Love features some of the GospelbeacH friends and Los Angeles’s finest players and singers including, Pearl Charles, Miranda Lee Richards, members of Wilco, Mapache, Eels, and pickers from the Grand Ole Echo.

“By 1979, rock ‘n’ roll was in a magical moment of honoring its history and giving way to its future,” explains Rademaker. “With Another Summer of Love, we set our way-back machine to the year that gave us Unknown Pleasures and Damn the Torpedoes. It was my junior year of high school and there were no boundaries — just good rock ‘n’ roll! That’s just what we set out to do with this record…skinny ties and mustaches!”
