Albania and Chile to attend Global Peace Summit in Switzerland — Zelenskyy

Albanian PM Edi Rama and Chilean President Gabriel Boric had confirmed their countries’ participation in the upcoming Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on May 22.

“I spoke with a great friend of Ukraine, Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama,” Zelenskyy said in a Telegram post.

“We discussed preparations for the upcoming Peace Summit in Switzerland. I am grateful to the Prime Minister for Albania's participation in the Summit.”

The Ukrainian leader also briefed Rama on the situation on the battlefield, specifically the defense of Kharkiv Oblast.

Additionally, Zelenskyy held talks with the Boric, who confirmed that Chile will attend the Global Peace Summit.

The Summit will be held June 15-16 in Bürgenstock, near Switzerland’s Lucerne. According to Bloomberg, between 80 and 100 countries are expected to participate.

On May 3, Zelenskyy said that the summit would discuss an "all-for-all" POW exchange between Ukraine and Russia.
