Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy suffers knee injury
A successful spring for Alabama football may simply be getting through the rest of spring practices without any other injuries.
Tuesday night, Crimson Tide wide receiver Jerry Jeudy confirmed a report from Al.com that he had suffered a torn meniscus.

According to the report, Jeudy could return before Alabama’s spring game on April 21.
A five-star signee in the class of 2017, Jeudy was Alabama’s second-leading receiver as the Tide won the national championship over Georgia. He had 14 catches for 264 yards and two touchdowns. Yes, those statistics were good enough to be Alabama’s No. 2 receiver behind Calvin Ridley because of how much the Tide spread the ball around. While Ridley had 63 catches, eight players had between 12 and 17 catches.
Ridley declared for the 2018 NFL draft, so Jeudy is a prime candidate to be Alabama’s No. 1 wide receiver in 2018.
Earlier this spring, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa broke a bone in his left hand when he hit it on the top of another player’s helmet.
