Alabama high school sports: Southside's Keelan Vice voted Gadsden area athlete of the week

Southside's Keelan Vice has won The Gadsden Times player of the week poll for Week 7.

Vice recorded 54 kills, 22 digs, 14 blocks and eight aces as the Panthers picked up victories over Pell City, Geraldine, Ider and Faith Christian and also won the Etowah County tournament. She earned 45.68% of the vote.

Etowah's Omareon’ Finch placed second with 34.91% of the vote.
