Alabama football schedule 2022: TV, kickoff times for four games set

You can officially plan your first three Saturdays of the 2022 Alabama football season.

The TV designations and kickoff times were announced for the Crimson Tide's first three games of the season, as well as the kickoff time for Austin Peay on Nov. 19.

Alabama will begin the season facing Utah State at home, the first home opener for Nick Saban's squad since the 2011 season. The Crimson Tide will face the Aggies at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 3. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network.

Then in the second week, Alabama will travel to Austin, Texas, to face former offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns. The game will be broadcast at 11 a.m. on Sept. 10 on Fox.

The Crimson Tide will then return home for its final game before SEC play begins. Alabama has a matchup with Louisiana-Monroe at 3 p.m. on Sept. 17. The game will be televised on SEC Network.

On Nov. 19, Austin Peay will travel to Tuscaloosa to face the Crimson Tide at 11 a.m. on ESPN+/SEC Network+.

Saban is heading into his 16th season with the Crimson Tide. He has a 183-25 record over his previous 15 seasons with Alabama, including six national championships.

This year, with Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr., he will look to add another to the collection.
