Aisha Tyler bids an emotional farewell to 'The Talk'

After six seasons of co-hosting The Talk, Aisha Tyler said farewell during her last day on the show. Each of her co-hosts took time to say goodbye to her. Sheryl Underwood said, “We as women in comedy, they think we don’t like each other and they think we don’t work together well. You have made me a better comic, a better woman.”

Sara Gilbert reminisced about Tyler’s hilarious reaction to Gilbert’s announcement that she was pregnant.

Sharon Osbourne, who’s worked in the entertainment industry for many years, said, “I have to say that all the people I’ve worked with throughout my career, you have the best work ethic of anyone I’ve ever worked with. You are a true professional. You are a true friend.”

The normally stoic Julie Chen spoke some heartfelt words, saying, “You see Aisha Tyler, you think, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s just perfect, she’s gorgeous.’ And you are the funniest, the bawdiest, the smartest, the hardest-working. And you made me sit straighter because I wanted to be worthy of sitting to your left every day.”

After many tears, Tyler thanked her co-hosts and said, “I knew that this could be a home. But I never imagined in a million years that it would be this magical of a place.”
