AirJamz Looks Like A Fitness Tracker But Is Actually A Wearable Air Guitar

While most wearable gadgets do useful things like tracking the user’s steps or heart rate, the AirJamz acts a a wrist-based air guitar.

All budding air musicians need to do is download the app, strap the gadget on their wrist, and strum along.

Buyers can choose from a red, black or white wristband and can switch between different guitar sounds using the app, which is available for iOS and Android.

Amazingly, air guitar is classified as an official sport and the AirJamz is the official air guitar of its governing body - US Air Guitar.

The device is currently seeking cash on crowdfunding site Kickstarter and early birds can nab themselves a wristband for $39 (£28).

If the funding target is reached, the AirJamz devices are due to ship in August.

The makers have also pledged that for every 20 AirJamz bought on Kickstarter, they’ll donate one to their charity partners in music education, music therapy and hospitals.
