The two caregivers said they are poised to transform the landscape of in-home care in the area.

"We offer services in Richland, Ashland, and Crawford counties and are looking to expand in the near future. We believe that family is the most important thing, and keeping our loved ones in their own home expands quality of life," Rayburn said.

Nidiffer brings a rich background to the table, having served as a critical care nurse, correctional nurse and travel nurse for four years. She said her experience in entrepreneurship, alongside diverse healthcare professional experience, has equipped her with a deep understanding of the complexities of health care and the needs of individuals requiring assistance in their homes.

Rayburn, a Mansfield native, has been a self-employed private duty registered nurse in Ohio for the past four years.

She is a mother of two and a wife of 16 years to her high school sweetheart, Brody.

She specializes in private duty pediatric home care. Critical care experience in the field has come with a focus on empathy and understanding when caring for her patients, she said. She said she recognizes and understands the need that this community has for in-home care. She believes that everyone deserves to stay in their homes "during treatments, recover or end-of-life care. Period," she said.

Agape United Home Care aims to provide not just assistance, but a holistic approach to wellness that prioritizes dignity, independence and comfort, the two founders said.
