Satellite images showing the aftermath of the alleged Ukrainian ATACMS missile attack on the Artemivsk district of the Russian-occupied administrative center of Luhansk on the night of May 7 were posted on Telegram by the U.S.-funded Radio Liberty on May 9.
The pictures, taken on May 8, show signs of fire and at least three destroyed fuel storage tanks.
On May 7, the Moscow-appointed leader of the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republic,” Leonid Pasechnik, claimed that Ukrainian forces had carried out an ATACAMS missile attack on an oil depot located in Luhansk, resulting in power lines damage, a lack of electricity supply in nearby houses, and a fire in a high-pressure gas pipeline.
Ukraine has not commented on the incident.
