AFC West Review – Week 7
The good news is the San Diego Chargers earned another victory during Week Seven, but unfortunately every other AFC West team did as well. The Bolts pulled off a comeback victory in overtime after forcing a timely turnover and masterful fourth down stop. As mentioned Oakland, Denver, and Kansas City won; keeping the race for the division title the same entering Week Eight.
After Sunday each team will be halfway through their respective schedules minus the Kansas City Chiefs. As the season approaches the midway point, the Chargers appear to be turning a corner and will need to string together more wins in order to climb back into the playoff picture.

San Diego has an opportunity to take a huge step back into the playoff picture with a win on Sunday. Defeating the defending Super Bowl champions twice would not only pay immediate dividends, but could come into play should the Bolts be tied with Denver at any point later in the season. Kansas City travels to Indianapolis and Oakland will try to maintain their lead with a win in Tampa Bay.
