Adventist Health free children’s mobile immunization clinics continue through May

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Adventist Health’s free children’s mobile immunization clinics are ongoing in Kern County this month.

The mobile unit offers free immunizations for children under 18 years of age who do not have health insurance, enrolled in Medi-Cal (must present Medi-Cal card at each visit) and are available for children of American Indian or Native Alaskans descent.

According organizers, no appointment will be needed for children 5-years-old and younger, but immunization cards are required. Parents or guardians are asked to make appointments for children over the age of 5.

Registration may close 30 minutes before closing time.

Adventist’s mobile clinic also offers free Hemoglobin testing for expecting and post partum mothers. You would need to present a WIC, school or doctor’s referral note regardless if you have health insurance or not.
