Adorable koala drinking from a hose on a super hot day is summer goals
How much can a koala bear? Not too much when it comes to the intense heat of an Australian summer, it seems.
One particularly overheated koala has been filmed battling the weather by drinking straight from a hose, its little hand adorably wrapped around it.
The video was first uploaded by Courtney Jade Harvey from Woodside, South Australia, who noticed the koala descending from a tree on her property.
After she offered it some hose, the koala immediately "grabbed [it], held onto it and drank from the end," Harvey said on Facebook.
Poor little bubba. Animal welfare organisation, Animals Australia, then reposted the video, stressing the importance of leaving out water for wildlife during summer. "By leaving water out on your property and by keeping your eyes out for distressed animals, you can not only help alleviate their suffering, but you can help them survive," they wrote on Facebook.
