According to Central California SPCA officials, Balto went home with his new family on Monday. The family met Balto at the Home and Garden Show in Fresno over the weekend, and then had a successful meet and greet with him at CCSPCA on Monday.

The family did not want to give out their full name, but officials refer to them as Journey and Family.

“These are the happy endings we all work so hard to create,” said officials with CCSPCA.

A formal meet and greet was required to meet Balto since CCSPCA officials say they want to ensure they placed him with the right family and the right environment.
