Adopt Me! Sweet, Cuddly Danielle Deserves a Quiet Home for the Holidays

Home: Some pets never have one to call their own. We’d like to help change that by introducing you to an adoptable pet every week. Today, meet Danielle, an 8-year-old boxer mix currently available at the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge.

This sweetheart came to the shelter in Oakland, New Jersey, after she was confiscated as a part of a cruelty case with her brother, Dillon, who has since been adopted.

Why she hasn’t found a home is anyone’s guess — Danielle enjoys the company of other dogs of all ages and sizes and is affectionate with human friends as well.

“Danielle is that dog that makes us all ask, ‘Why hasn’t she been adopted yet?’ … she’s just that sweet, cuddly and loving,” says Frannie D’Annunzio.

This gentle girl is believed to be 8-years-old and would do best in a quieter adult home, where things move at a slower pace (children under the age of 10 aren’t recommended).

To learn more about this cutie — who loves to rest her head on legs — email Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge at adoptlove@rbari.org.
