Adi Putra would not reject the opportunity to direct in the future.

11 Feb – Actor Adi Putra admits he is not interested to sit in the directors' seat although many of his counterparts are already moving to the field of directing.

According to the "Suami Aku Ustaz" actor, he is more comfortable being an actor at the moment.

"Apart from the constraints of time, I do not have an interest in the field of directing."

"I know where my expertise lies, if I did become a director, it would be like purposely driving into a tree," he tells Sinar Harian.

Adi added that he does not want to do something if it does not have quality as it would only be a waste of time.

At the same time, he prefers acting and helping out his fellow friends who are directors he works with.

However, the 34-year-old says he would not completely rule out becoming a director in the future.

Besides acting, he is also busy running his own travel agency which he manages.

Recently, Adi says he will appear in a drama for Ramadhan on TV3 and a seasonal episode of "Cinta Si Wedding Planner".
