Here are your Ada, Canyon County legislative candidates for the primary election
Idaho voters will once again head to the polls in about two months to elect new state senators and representatives.
The candidate filing period for Idaho’s primary election on May 21 closes at 5 p.m. Friday, meaning any individual hoping to run for office will be unable to do so after the deadline.
Treasure Valley voters will be most interested in legislative districts 10 through 22, which make up Ada, Canyon and part of Gem counties. Residents will vote for their district representatives and senator based on their address. You can check which district you live in by inputting your address on the Idaho Legislature’s “Who’s My Legislator” page.
Below are the candidates that voters will have to choose from (R-Republican; D-Democrat; C-Constitution). The list will be updated again after the filing deadline.
