Actress Mia Farrow's Adopted Son Thaddeus Dies at 27 in a Car Accident
Thaddeus Farrow, the son of Actress Mia Farrow, died after shooting himself in the torso while inside of a car in Connecticut Wednesday, according to police.
The 27-year-old, who suffered from polio, was critically injured on Route 67. He was taken to Danbury hospital, but pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m.

Farrow, 71, adopted Thaddeus from an orphanage in Calcutta, India, in 1994 when he was just 12 years old. He was one of 10 children that Farrow had adopted over the years, alongside her four biological children.
Thaddeus is Farrow's third adopted child to die. Tam Farrow died from heart failure in 2000 and Lark Previn died in 2008.
Thaddeus was paraplegic as a result of his polio, and Farrow, who contracted the disease herself at age 9, campaigned to rid the world of polio after she adopted him.
His adoption came after her split from Woody Allen and she even gave Thaddeus the middle name Wilk after Judge Elliot Wilk, who ended up giving her sole custody of her children after a custody battle.
In a 2013 interview with Vanity Fair, Thaddeus spoke about what it was like to be adopted by Mia as a child.
"It was scary to be brought to a world of people whose language I did not understand, with different skin colors,” he said. “The fact that everyone loved me was a new experience, overwhelming at first.”
He said that at an orphanage in India, he was chained to a post and kids threw rocks at him and he was forced to crawl around and beg for food.

But, when Farrow said when she saw him she immediately knew he was her son.
Farrow has yet to release a statement about his death as of Thursday Morning.
