ACTion Program for Animals offering affordable vaccinations

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Show your pets some love by getting them vaccinated.

ACTion Programs for Animals (APA) is holding a drive-up clinic on Saturday, April 13, at their adoption center, 537 N. Solano Drive, in Las Cruces.

APA is also offering free vaccinations through its partnership with Petco and Petco Love’s national vaccination initiative, according to APA.

The APA will offer the following services for $15 each:

  • Rabies vaccine (1-year dose; 3-year dose when appropriate);;

  • Microchip;

  • and Bordetella vaccine.

Petco Love will offer the following vaccines for free:

  • DAPP (distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza and parvo) vaccine

  • FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukope) vaccine

According to the APA, pre-registration is not needed for the services. However, they will only be able to serve well-behaved dogs on leashes and cats in carriers.
