Hit-and-run driver identified after critically injuring man on scooter in Clearwater crash: Police
CLEARWATER, Fla. - Clearwater police say they've identified a pick-up truck driver who hit a man on a motorized scooter on Monday afternoon and drove away.
The crash happened around 2:45 p.m. in the area of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Hampton Road.
Few details have been released, but the man on the scooter was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa. His injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Clearwater police have not released the driver's name nor have they said whether that person has been arrested.
