Accretive Health names former Dell exec Schuckenbrock new CEO, Tolan will become chairman
CHICAGO (AP) -- Accretive Health Inc. said Tuesday that former Dell executive Stephen Schuckenbrock will become president and CEO of the company, and current President and CEO Mary Tolan will become chairman.
Schuckenbrock will also join Accretive Health's board of directors. His positions at Dell Inc. included president of the service and large enterprise units and chief information officer.
Tolan has been president and CEO of Accretive Health, which helps hospitals manage their revenue, since November 2003. J. Michael Cline, who has been chairman since July 2009, will remain on the board. Cline and Tolan are co-founders of Accretive Health.
The moves will take effect Wednesday.
