Accomack County shooting leaves man hospitalized

ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that put a man in the hospital.

On Wednesday, Feb. 28 around 11:40 p.m. the sheriff’s office received a call about a man suffering from a gunshot wound. An Onley police officer located a vehicle with bullet holes on the 24000 block of Coastal Boulevard in Tasley, Va.

Upon arrival, they began to process the crime scene and found a man suffering gunshot wound inside the vehicle.

A Maryland State Police Trooper transported the man to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional, and he was later taken to the University of Maryland Medical Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
