Accident - March 17, 2024

Mar. 17—No injuries were reported Saturday in a two-vehicle accident at the Walmart parking lot in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 12:12 p.m. a 1999 Cadillac Escalade, driven by Chris A. Willets, 66, of Creston, was backing out of a parking spot and backed into a 2018 Ford Focus, driven by Ma H. Quintanilla, 47, of Weslaco, Texas. Willets said he did not see the Focus.

Damage to the Escalade was estimated at $500 and damage to the Focus was estimated at $1,000.
