Abundant Life Christian Center of Baton Rouge holds annual LifeFest Prayer Revival

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Abundant Life Christian Center of Baton Rouge will host its 12th Annual LifeFest Prayer Revival and Gospel Festival from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 30.

The festival will be held downtown at the Rhorer Plaza, located at 222 North Boulevard on the lawn of the Baton Rouge City Hall.

“LifeFest is designed to allow the churches to come from behind the four walls and come together on one accord to bring salvation to the people most in need of prayer and love,” said Virgil Smothers, production coordinator of the Annual LifeFest Prayer Revival. “LifeFest is a Festival showcasing the celebration of Life, Deliverance, Healing, Prosperity, and most importantly the Love of Jesus Christ.”

The LifeFest Prayer Revival has various activities. These include praise and worship sessions. The sessions will have live music by select gospel artists on the Galvez Stage. The event will have food and small business vendors selling products and crafts. There will be a prayer revival. Pastors of local churches will lead prayers at the top of every hour.

The Annual LifeFest Prayer Revival also presents fun activities for kids. It includes the sponsored Kid’s Zone with a water fight and a LifeFest Scavenger Hunt. There are also bounce houses and obstacle courses. There is face painting and carnival games with prizes. Kids will also enjoy free hot dogs, nachos, soft drinks and ice cream at the LifeFest Snack Station.
