The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Salvation Army of Abilene provides clothing, shelter, three free meals a day, a 10 month drug/alcohol rehabilitation program, furniture to burn out victims, veteran’s programs, gifts for children at Christmas, disaster services, a Homeless to Work program, a program for families (Pathway of Hope), and much more.

  • $10- This provides a meal and shelter for the night.

  • $24- This provides three nights of housing for a homeless neighbor.

  • $42- This is three free meals a day, seven days a week for a guest.

  • $75- This provides a guest clothing, hygiene kits, shelter, food for three days

  • $175- This provides a guest clothing, hygiene kit, shelter, food for a week.
