Abhay Deol: SHANGHAI has to be my most difficult film

No one can deny that Abhay Deol is one of the most intense actors in town. So much so that at times his ideas regarding movie making are so widely different in their perspective that you actually wonder if he's working in Bollywood- the otherwise intellectually barren place, according to many.

For Abhay, films are more about discovering than acting. In our industry that places onus on box office figures alone, Abhay begs to differ. In a latest interview, Abhay admitted, "I am exactly as I was seven years back. The only thing that has changed probably is that now I am going out and talking about my films."

Ask him about his take on the kind of cinema that he does, Abhay adds, "I, like others, expect a lot out of myself. I believe films are not so much about acting as they are about discovering."

Abhay, whose film SHANGHAI is getting set for release is kicked about the film. Speaking about his act in the movie, Abhay has this to say, "This has to be my most difficult film as the characters background was completely different from my other films. All I can say is, I am nervous, but it is all positive."

SHANGHAI, which features Abhay Deol and Emraan Hashmi in the lead, is set to release in the second week of June this year.
