Abby Lee Miller Cried Before Entering Prison

Abby Lee Miller cried as she headed to the facility where she will serve her sentence.

The sneak peek of Lifetime’s “Dance Moms: Abby Tells All Exclusive” obtained by People revealed what Miller did shortly before starting her prison stint. In the clip, the dance instructor and choreographer eats macaroni and cheese from a Tupperware as they head to the FCI Victorville facility near her home in San Bernardino, California. At one point, she also asks if it is a far walk to the ladies’ room from where they will drop her off. Her companion tells her that it will be explained to her upon their arrival. Then Miller weeps while saying, “It’s over.”

Miller entered prison nearly two weeks ago on July 12, but fans finally got to see how the reality star handled the aftermath of her sentencing for the first time through a special that aired on Tuesday. In an interview prior to serving her sentence, the “Dance Moms” alum admitted to “The View” co-host Jedediah Bila (via Entertainment Tonight) that she is scared of being targeted in jail. “I hope it won’t be as bad as I imagine. If it’s that bad I probably won’t survive it,” Miller said. “I mean, if a whole gang of people want to kill you, they’re gonna do it. If a whole bunch of people want to make your life a living hell, they’re gonna do it.”

Miller was sentenced to serve 366 days in prison after she was found guilty of bankruptcy fraud in May in Pittsburgh. In addition to this, the reality star was ordered to pay a $40,000 fine and given two years of probation once she gets out of jail. During probation, she will be living in a place “approved by the probation officer.”

While Miller broke out into tears as she headed to prison, she told ET earlier this month at the “Marvel Universe Live! Age of Heroes” red carpet premiere in Los Angeles that spending a year and a day there will be a good opportunity for her to concentrate on herself. “I’ve always put everybody else’s child first before my own health, before my own outfit, before my own time frame,” she said. “Everybody else was dressed and out the door and looking perfect and I was running around trying to find a clean towel to take a shower with, so I think this will be a little ‘me’ time.”

Meanwhile, Miller will continue her business even when she is behind bars. She posted dates for her ALDC (Abby Lee Dance Company) competition team auditions for the 2017-18 season on Instagram, which will be led by her co-choreographers Gianna Martello and Guy “Mr. Guy” Amir. However, the post has since been deleted.
