Abby Lee Miller, the star of the Lifetime series Dance Moms, was sentenced to one year and one day in prison Tuesday after being found guilty of bankruptcy fraud and illegally taking currency into the country. Now, she's speaking out in a new interview about her reaction to the sentencing and how she plans to cope behind bars.

In an interview with Good Morning America, she screamed out loud when she started talking about her conviction of trying to hide $750,000 of her income from bankruptcy proceedings. "I don't want to hear that number anymore," she said, insisting she never intentionally tried to hide the money. "I wasn't ever trying to hurt anyone."

While in prison, she said she wants to read and learn to speak Spanish, and keep working on a new book. "We're just going to pretend I'm shooting a movie, and we're on set, and I'm there for 10 months, and that's the way it's going to be," she said.

After she gets out, Miller said she's going to realign her priorities. "[I want] to be a smarter businesswoman and also to worry about myself," she said. "I have spent so much time and so much energy making other people's children stars. I didn't have any children of my own. These were my kids, and I raised them like they were my kids."

She also revealed her one regret: "I would never have filed for bankruptcy. Ever. I do not recommend it."
