UPDATE: Abandoned kittens ‘looking really great’
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Four kittens abandoned at the Capital Area Humane Society last week are “looking really great,” the agency reports on its Facebook page.
The agency reports the kittens foster placement had this to say about the four kittens:
They are all looking really great. Gaining weight and eating well and are starting to get playful!

As WLNS reported April 19, four kittens were placed in a container and left at the CAHS shelter, 7095 W. Grand River Ave. The four, approximately two week old kittens were left without warm for an estimated 10 hours by the time a volunteer discovered them. The agency reported on their Facebook page, two of the kittens were “lifeless” when found.
The kittens were placed in a foster home.
The very young kittens, CAHS officials wrote in their initial Facebook post on the situation, require external warmth as they are unable to generate their own heat. They also require feedings every two or three hours.
