AARP "Smart Driver" class to be held at Watertown PD encourages safe driving for seniors

The 2024 spring AARP “Smart Driver” senior refresher class is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Watertown Police Department Conference Room, 128 N. Maple.

The 2024 spring AARP “Smart Driver” senior refresher class is scheduled Thursday, May 16 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Watertown Police Department Conference Room.

The police department building is located at 128 N. Maple.

The four-hour class is an excellent review for senior drivers who may be driving with limited flexibility, decreased vision, hearing and reaction time as well as possible side effects to medications.

The class is designed to enable drivers to continue safe driving practices. Completion of the class may in some cases reduce insurance premiums.
