AARP Kansas hosting Chess tournament in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — AARP Kansas is hosting a chess tournament this month in Wichita.

The tournament will take place at Naftzger Park. The free event will take place Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants will need to bring their own boards, pieces, and timers. You can register for the tournament in advance by clicking here.

Electric scooters to be available after dark in Wichita

The first rounds start at 10 a.m., so you should arrive early. The tournament will be four rounds, Swiss pairing, in 20 minutes with five-second delays.
