Aaron Rodgers says he's been medically cleared to return
With the postseason still within reach, the Green Bay Packers can have their All-Pro passer back. Aaron Rodgers revealed he has been medically cleared to play eight weeks after breaking his collarbone.
Rodgers shared the news with an Instagram post.
A post shared by Aaron Rodgers (@aaronrodgers12) on Dec 12, 2017 at 7:16pm PST
It read:
“It’s been a long road from that to this, but I’m happy to say I’ve been medically cleared to return. Thanks for all the love, support, prayers and well wishes over the past 8 weeks and a big thank you to Dr. McKenzie and our incredible training staff. #riseagain”
Brett Hundley has taken over starting duties for Rodgers, and has helped the Packers go 3-4 in Rodgers’ absence.
The team currently sits at 7-6, and is still on the fringes of the playoff hunt in the NFC.
The Packers will play the Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions over the final three games.
