I-95 Exit 74 ramp in East Lyme to close tonight

Jun. 28—EAST LYME — The state Department of Transportation has announced that the Exit 74 on-ramp to Interstate 95 northbound will be closed from 8 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Thursday for work associated with the ongoing $148 million reconstruction of the interchange.

The closure will allow for the installation of temporary illumination units on the temporary traffic barriers. Drivers are advised to follow the posted detour.

To access I-95 northbound, motorists should continue on Route 161 north which turns into Route 1, turn left on Cross Road, left on Waterford Parkway, and then take the entrance ramp to I-95 northbound.
