911: Child flown by medical helicopter from crash scene in Adamsburg

Jun. 9—A child was flown by medical helicopter and three adults were taken to hospitals following a crash in Adamsburg Wednesday, officials with the Hempfield Township Fire Department said.

Crews responded to the 400 block of Edna Road around 2:50 p.m., according to a Westmoreland 911 dispatcher.

According to John Storey, deputy fire chief, two vehicles were involved in the crash. The child was ejected from one of the vehicles, he said.

Storey did not have an update on the condition of those involved in the crash, which is being investigated by state police.
