90s Forecast to Make Comeback This Week

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) —  The 90s are coming back this week, and we don’t mean the days of dial-up internet, plaid-flannel shirts, and Alanis Morissette.

Warm conditions will settle in, making the next seven days feel, overall, like the end of May.

Strong high pressure over the Atlantic waters will be in firm control of our weather pattern. The result is a strong southeasterly flow to our area, bringing plenty of warmer air and some more moisture.

While we will start in the mid 80s this week, by Thursday, temperatures should start to make a run for the 90 degree mark.

If we hit 90 in Dothan on Thursday, it will be the first time since Oct. 5. On average, our first time we hit 90 in the year is May 8.

While we will be dry on Monday, a few spotty showers are possible on Tuesday. Dry conditions settle in again on Friday, but isolated sprinkles are possible once again as we head into the weekend.
