90 without power in Central IL after morning storms

ROCHESTER, Ill. (WCIA) — About 90 people are without power in Rochester after storms moved through Central Illinois early Tuesday morning.

WEATHER NOW: Several rounds of severe storms heading our way

Ameren’s outage map indicates that the outage started just after 6 a.m. and was caused by damage from a tree. It is the most serious power outage Ameren Illinois is reporting as of Tuesday morning. A few other outages have been reported Tuesday morning across Central Illinois, with ongoing outages in Divernon and Champaign, each only affecting one customer.

Ameren has not indicated when power in Rochester will be restored.
