9 arrested in Tom Green County child solicitation investigation

SAN ANGELO — A two-day investigation into online child solicitation in Tom Green County led to arrests of multiple men in San Angelo and the surrounding area, according to court documents records.

One of those arrests included a registered child sex offender, and another arrest involved Goodfellow Air Force Base.

Between Thursday, April 21, and Friday, April 22, the San Angelo Police Department, Department of Homeland Security and the Texas Department of Public Safety conducted an investigation. Several agents and investigators created undercover profiles, posing as children from 14-16 years old, records state.

The following men were all arrested on charges of online solicitation of a minor - sexual conduct.

  • Ysaias Rodriguez, 35, of San Angelo

  • James Howard Baker, 38, of San Angelo

  • Rafael Alvarado, 25, of San Angelo

  • Buddy Gray, 36, of Llano

  • Jordan Floyd Locklear, of Austin

  • Gerald Martinez of San Angelo

  • Christopher Martin Rose, 20, of San Angelo

  • Christopher Shawn Wilson, 55, of San Angelo

  • Matthew Allen Beckett, 36, of San Angelo

In each of these cases, the solicitation charge is a second-degree felony, punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a fine not the exceed $10,000
