77-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash along Briley Parkway
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A motorcyclist died following a Sunday afternoon collision on Briley Parkway near Dickerson Pike, according to Nashville authorities.
The Metro Nashville Police Department identified the motorcyclist killed in the crash as 77-year-old Donald Armstrong of Decaturville. The incident was reported around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 28.

Officials said the preliminary investigation shows a 2019 Infiniti was heading westbound on Briley Parkway and approaching the on-ramp from Dickerson Pike onto Briley Parkway when, according to witnesses, Armstrong accelerated up the ramp to enter Briley Parkway and hit the passenger side of the Infiniti.
Authorities said the driver of the Infiniti immediately slowed down and pulled over to the shoulder. Meanwhile, Armstrong was reportedly thrown from the Tri Glide motorcycle and died at the scene.
