76ers defeat the Heat and secure playoff spot
The Philadelphia 76ers took on the Miami Heat to decide who would earn the 7th seed in the NBA playoffs. Sixers star center Joel Embiid continued to show how important it is for him to be on the floor for the Sixers. Down the stretch, he came up with some big plays to help the Sixers secure the win. In addition, power forward Nicolas Batum proved he was ready to play, scoring 20 points off the bench. The Sixers will now prepare for the 2nd-seeded New York Knicks, who just finished having a great regular season. Game 1 is scheduled for this Saturday in Madison Square Garden.
