I-75 near Venice reopens after brush fire

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — All lanes of Interstate 75 reopened Monday night after they were closed due to a brush fire, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Lanes were closed for hours and traffic was diverted off of the highway.

Video shared with WFLA by Craig Chapman shows a helicopter picking up water to help with the fire.

No other details were immediately available.
