74-year-old man hit on the head in Brooklyn attack: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for a man accused of hitting a 74-year-old man on the head in Brooklyn Sunday, authorities said.

The suspect allegedly walked up to the victim and whacked him on the back of the head at 2:34 p.m. near Ashford Street and Sutter Avenue, authorities report. After the assault, the man fled the scene.

First responders transported the victim to a hospital for treatment, authorities said.
