72-year-old man gets 6 months in jail on child porn charges
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Wyoming County man was sentenced to six months in jail under several child pornography charges, the Wyoming County District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.
William E. Wallace, 72, was charged with nine counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child and three counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Wallace possessed “multiple images of pre-pubescent female children” and some of the images contained children being subjected to sexual abuse. The children were under 16 years old. Wallace admitted that he had been looking at images of child rape and sexual abuse for the last five years.
He will be subject to 10 years of probation following his jail time. He will also have to register as a sex offender.
